Country Rap Report and DJ Cannon Banyon Are Teaming Up For Greatness!

The good part of working with independent artists is the amount of networking that goes on behind the scenes. The networking leads to people collabing and creating content for fans. It doesn't matter if it's the musicians, the engineers, the promoters, or even the reviewers and journalists. In 2022, that won't change. It may only get better.

Our good friends, Spank and Vic, over at Country Rap Report have teamed up with Average Joe's very own DJ Cannon Banyon, to work on several collaborative projects for 2022. The projects will give exposure to new up-and-coming country rap artists in the form of quarterly compilation albums to be distributed by Asset Distribution, including free mixtape versions that will be available to stream on LiveMixtapes, Datpiff, and other popular mixtape streaming channels.

This could be a big deal for the genre as a whole. It will spread light to some very deserving artists, while giving fans something new and entertaining to jam to. Fans will have the ability to hear artists that they may have never heard prior to the mixtapes and compilations. DJ Cannon Banyon does not disappoint, either. His experience along with Country Rap Report's combined music knowledge, is about to be lit.

Artists like Country Rap newcomer Cokaa, and Memphis's own Hip Hop veteran duo, WEST 10 have heard the idea and "Embrace It". They have locked in their spots on the first project and are bound to "Put Some Country In It". Other artists and producers will be announced at a later date.

Country Rap Report is busy finishing up their year end tapings and preparing for their Country Rap Report Awards show at the beginning of 2022. We are definitely amped to see this project come to fruition and encouraged to see networking of this type happening in the genre. If you are a country rapper, a producer, or even a country singer that would like to add some flavor to the project, be sure to reach out to them on social media.

Free Flow will keep everyone up-to-date on the project moving forward. If you haven't checked in to Country Rap Report, you can watch the review show every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10 a.m. est.
