Turnt For Tots

‘Twas the season of giving and one thing country rap artists do, other than rock the stage, is give back to others. Be it with their music or with amazing charity. That includes the man who does more than make hits, Big Murph.

You may know Tyler ‘Big Murph’ Murphy for his songs like A1 Since Day One with Who TF is Justin Time and Adam Calhoun, or maybe you’ve heard his new song, Somedays. However, many kids know him for his generosity at Christmas.

In past years, Big Murph has held a concert called Turnt for Tots with the admission fee being a toy worth $10 or a $10 cover charge at the door. All proceeds and toys donated at the concerts are distributed to children through a local Angel Tree Program.

This year was no different. If anything, Big Murph ‘Turnt’ it up for the 2020 Christmas season. Instead of one benefit concert, he pulled off two all ages concerts packed full of talented artists like himself, GR1M, Bubba Wiggles and more.

Big Murph announced via Facebook that The 3rd Annual Turnt for Tots concert was to be held at Bulldogs in Dickson, Tennesse on December 12th. A few days later, he released that a second concert was set to go down at Mystic Images Tattoo in Noblesville, Indiana on December 19th.

Double the concerts meant double the chances to spread a smile on a child’s face. With the help of fans and fellow artists, that is exactly what Big Murph did. The promise of live music, good food and plenty of drinks to go around was just an added bonus for those who attended.

Big Murph only makes hits and Turnt for Tots is definitely that. A hit. Many kids woke up Christmas morning a little happier thanks to the toy drive and Big Murphy’s ability to bring the right crowd together for a good cause.
